Trustidd Table

890
This original coffee table revisits the ancient traditions of Puglia in a modern key. The base is, in fact, obtained from the wrought iron beds that were once used, called "Trustidd" in the Apulian dialect. The top is the wooden reproduction of an ancient box that was used to transport fruit, bottles and other objects of daily use. A unique and original piece that arises from the skilful reinterpretation of classic Italian craftsmanship to meet modern furnishing needs.

Nicola Putignano

The passion for the art world is a distinctive trait in the Putignano family. It was Bartolo, Nicola’s uncle, who created his “Bottega d’Arte” together with his brother in 1999. Today Nicola manages the family business with dedication and commitment, aiming to create unique and innovative pieces of furniture, and giving new life to the old ones. Wood is his passion and source of inspiration combined with a non-stop search for original styles and finishes through the recovery of old or waste materials.
